Where Creativity Takes Courage

At North Tampa Christian Academy, we believe every student is an artist, they just need the right space to discover it. Under the leadership of Mrs. Margie Pittman, our Visual Arts program invites middle and high school students to explore creativity in non-traditional, hands-on ways.

In a time when many students say, “I can’t draw” or “I’m not artistic,” we offer a fresh approach that focuses on discovery, innovation, and the joy of creating.

Rather than limiting students to traditional drawing and painting, NTCA’s Visual Arts classes introduce students to a wide variety of artistic expressions, including:

Glasswork
Mosaics
String Art
Quilting
Wood Burning
And much more

Through this diverse exploration, students build confidence, unlock creativity they didn’t know they had, and develop skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Mrs. Pittman’s passion is helping students realize that art is not about perfection , it’s about process, imagination, and personal growth.
