Before and After Care Programs
Introduction
For the convenience of parents and their work schedules, NTCA offers Before and Aftercare programs for all students in Kindergarten - 12th grade. For students who are 12 years old and younger, the Explorers Preschool provides Before and Aftercare Services on the NTCA campus. For students who are 13 years old and older, NTCA provides Before and Aftercare services on the NTCA campus.
Program for 12 Years Old and Younger
REGISTRATION. Registration is required for your child to attend Before and Aftercare through the Explorers Preschool. Before & Aftercare registration, billing, and attendance is tracked through brightwheel. If you need Before and/or Aftercare for your child, please submit the following application: Aftercare Application (additional documents must be turned in on their first day of attendance).
DROP-INS. Children who “drop-in” for Before and Aftercare and are not registered will require payment at the time of drop-off/pick-up and will require registration for future care.
BILLING. There is only 1 payment option. This year the $150 Per Month for August through May. Billing will be on the 1st of each month for that month. Monthly fees will not be prorated.
BEFORE CARE. Before Care starts at 6:30am. Please note that the campus will remain locked until 6:30am. Parents must escort and clock-in their child into Building 3. Before Care ends at 7:30am, at which time students will be sent to their learning communities to begin the day. If you arrive after 7:30am, then you will have to proceed to the carline for drop-off.
AFTERCARE. Aftercare hours are 3:45 - 6:00pm and on Friday from 2:30 - 5:30pm. Aftercare provides one afternoon snack. A late fee of $10.00 for the first minute and $2.00 per minute thereafter charged for each child remaining in the center after 6:00pm (M-TH) and 5:30pm (Fridays). Closing time includes early days posted in which parents have been notified.

Program for 13 Years Old and Older
REGISTRATION. The NTCA staff member responsible for Before and Aftercare will take attendance of the students checking in and turn the list of names, including the hours spent in Before and/or Aftercare, to the NTCA Business Office for billing through FACTS.
