Health Office

At North Tampa Christian Academy, we care about the health, safety, and well-being of our students and their families. While the Health Office is not designed to replace a physician’s care, our team works diligently to ensure that all students are healthy and ready to learn.

Covid-19 Safety Plan

  • In collaboration with AdventHealth, our health and wellness partner, a comprehensive health safety plan is implemented for our entire campus. This plan includes, but is not limited to the following:

    • On-site NTCA health office.

    • When symptoms are exhibited, the individual will be sent home. NTCA requires the individual to be fever-free without medication for 48 hours before returning to the campus.

    • Protocols utilizing stations for hand washing, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes.

    • Frequent use of disinfectant wipes on high touch, hard surfaces throughout the school day.

    • No touch protocols throughout the school day.

    • HVAC systems sanitized and calibrated for optimal fresh air exchange.

    • Enhanced HVAC filter protocol with optimal particle filtration and increased replacement frequency.

    • Provide education to staff, students, and their families about health safety.

    • Communicate the health expectations of our organization.

Face Mask Policy

All NTCA teachers, staff, students, and visitors may elect whether or not to wear a face mask at their discretion.

Positive Case Protocol

In the case of an individual testing positive for Covid-19, our team uses contact tracing protocol to determine the level or risk or exposure that others may have. During any times of quarantine, the learning continues through the Titan Teacher Network's Live Online or On Demand features.

If your child or any family member in your immediate household tests positive for Covid-19, we kindly ask that you inform the health office or your child's principal so the school can take the appropriate actions and reporting measures.

NTCA continues to monitor the Covid-19 pandemic and seek advice and counsel from valued experts. Our Covid-19 Safety Plan is a flexible plan that may require changes based on the guidance of our partners and AdventHealth if positive cases are on the rise or Covid-19 variants are presented. Any changes that need to be made to the NTCA Covid-19 Safety Plan will be promptly communicated to families as needed.
